Rabbi Worship

Having characterized Christendom, let us now have a look at Judaism, the religion of the tribe of Judah.

When the Northern Kingdom was sacked by the Assyrians under Sargon at the behest of Yah, Sargon’s

successor Sennacherib marched south without Yah’s blessing and started sacking the towns and cities of the South, he surrounded Jerusalem and issued a ultimatum to King Hezekiah king of the Southern Kingdom comprising mainly the tribal lands of Judah and Benjamin.

Hezekiah took the ultimatum to his prayer chamber and place it before Yah.

Yah’s messenger of death passed over the Assyrians during the night, and Sennacherib got the message and withdrew with what was left of his armies.

Christendom

How did we get from Acts to Christendom?

The assembly described in Acts of the Apostles is a Torah keeping community of shared resources, the ‘churches’ of Christendom are no such thing having their roots in Rome not in Jerusalem.

It was a long struggle against the overwhelming might of the Roman rulers and their growing hatred of anything Jewish, and the assembly of Acts was very Jewish.   Over time, the gentile influence became profound, and with that came dilution.

At the core of life is the scriptures, particularly the Old Testament scriptures, but when the New Testament scriptures are taken out of their Old Testament context then a new religion is born.

This is what happened and within a few hundred years a completely different understanding grew up, and understanding based not on Torah, but on the writings of Paul.

One Way, One Truth, One Life.

Readers of other articles on this blog will know that I consider that Satan created 3 institutions to counter the “back to Torah” message of Yahushua; Catholicism (no Torah), Islam (no bible) and Darwinism (no God).   With these three instruments, he now virtually rules the world.

But he is already defeated in his Toraic role as accuser, he has been thrown out of the heavens, out of the presence of Yah so that he can no longer claim those in Yahushua who have kept Torah to the best of their ability and understanding.

Yah does not care about numbers, He does however care about quality, He wants to change us into His own likeness, so that we can dwell with Him in eternity, and to be able to do this we have to become compliant with His Torah, not with man’s religions and their imitations of, and substitutes for, His Torah.

Yah spoke creation into existence and the Words He spoke comprise Torah and they resound across the ages, they are as relevant today as they were 6000 years ago.

Taboo

The Serpent was able to deceive the woman who was to become Chavah the lifegiver because the doctrine that she had been given about the tree of knowledge of good and evil was wrong, she was told that she should not touch it because then she would die, we are not told who told her this but it was obviously not Yah.

Chavah was learning, probably from Adam, how to relate to the environment around herself, but the untruth/partial truth about the function of the tree of knowledge made her vulnerable to deception.

When mankind starts to embroider Yah’s truth with his own bells and whistles, he is creating spiritual ammunition for satan to use against us.

What happens if I don’t keep Torah?

Well what did Yahushua say?

Mat 7:21  `Not every one who is saying to me Lord, lord, shall come into the reign of the heavens; but he who is doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens.

Mat 7:22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, lord, have we not in thy name prophesied? and in thy name cast out demons? and in thy name done many mighty things?

Mat 7:23  and then I will acknowledge to them, that–I never knew you, depart from me ye who are working lawlessness.  (Young’s Literal Translation)

Yahushua’s words, not mine.

Working Lawlessness, the Greek word here is anomia, that is “without law”, that is without Torah.

If you do not keep Torah then Yahushua will reject you…

So, do you keep Shabbat from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset as Yah commands?

Or do you keep Sunday as Mithra demands?

Do you keep Easter instead of Passover?

Do you keep Rosh Hashona instead of Taruwah?

Do you love Yahovah with ALL your HEART?

God & Co. purveyors of TRUTH

The truth is out there, but the problem is me.    The whole of Yah’s creation tingles with the feel of the Creator’s touch, but sometimes the obvious is hidden because we are just not seeing it.    The scriptures tell us many things about a heart relationship with Yah, and we mostly skip over them because we use the word ‘heart’ as a euphemism for emotion of any sort.

To us, things have to be mind orientated, and thus we look to the intellect and its sources of knowledge, things that we call facts, but many of which are actually fictions.

Because we have our own godship; our own ability to decide what is good and bad, we apply our own judgement to the themes that are presented to us, and because our knowledge of good and bad is corrupted and incomplete, truths can hide in the shadows of our intellects and lies can prosper and grow appearing to be vessels of light..

Then when the truths emerge our instinct is to reject them and seek the comfort of the familiar.   Thus we stay in the pig sty of religion and tradition.

I am Sailing

With Yah there is only one way and one truth, if we seek that way, and if we seek that truth, then we are promised that we will find those things, but how do we seek?

To seek is an active verb, it is a decision we alone must take in order to start seeking, and those further decisions along the way to keep seeking, there are many people who start the process, get their first revelation and instead of seeking further truth, the settle down and exploit the truth they have been given until they have wrung every cent out of it by writing books and appearing on TV and going on lecture tours.

This is not Yah’s way.

Yah is not a career opportunity, it is not a profession, it is a conviction, I seek Yah’s truth because it is Yah’s TRUTH.   Along the way, I am changed into His likeness.

WickedWays

To ‘repent’ jn the Hebrew is to make a turn about, a 180 degree turn that implies a move in the opposite direction.    In the case of turning from our wicked ways, we MUST turn back to Torah, to Yah’s way of doing things not man’s way.

The Hebrew word used here for wicked is ‘Rah’ the same word used in Genesis 3 to describe the knowledge of good and bad that Adam got from eating the forbidden fruit.

We must turn away from doing things Adam’s way and turn back to doing things Yah’s way according to His Torah.

On day six of creation Yah looked back on His creation and pronounced it ‘good’ (Tov) only then did He create Adam, and after doing so He pronounced His creation ‘perfect’ (tov Me’od).   Creation itself remains perfect, however whilst I follow Adam’s way it is not perfect, but the moment I turn back to Yah’s way, the way of Torah, then that perfection can start to re-establish itself in my vicinity.    All the time I behave like Adam, doing things my way, that perfection is in abeyance for there is only one way that leads to life, all other ways lead to Adam’s death.

Seeking His Face

To seek His face, now just what does that mean?    The literal translation of the second commandment is that we should have no other gods in his face, and we are all too eager to throw our own godship in His face.

Yah s all knowing and all seeing, and yet we have the temerity to think that we know better, we change His sabbath to Sunday, we change Passover to ‘Easter’ and Taruwah to (Jewish) New Year (Rosh Hashanah).    That is throwing our godship in His face in a big way.    Christmas too, we take the pagan feast of Saturnalia and pretend it is something to do with Yahushua, and if there were shepherds abiding on the hillsides watching their flocks by night, then it was not the end of December, its just too cold for the sheep.

And Pray

Prayer is a two way dialogue between ourselves and Yah, we, in all our humility, talk to our Father about our lives, our needs and our desires.    This is the reakity, and if we are keepers of Torah (righteous) the Yah hears our prayers.

Yahushua told us how to pray and how not to pray, he told us the prayers are personal and private and not public displays of pseudo-piety.

Our Father – Acknowledgement of Yah’s relationship
