WickedWays

To ‘repent’ jn the Hebrew is to make a turn about, a 180 degree turn that implies a move in the opposite direction.    In the case of turning from our wicked ways, we MUST turn back to Torah, to Yah’s way of doing things not man’s way.

The Hebrew word used here for wicked is ‘Rah’ the same word used in Genesis 3 to describe the knowledge of good and bad that Adam got from eating the forbidden fruit.

We must turn away from doing things Adam’s way and turn back to doing things Yah’s way according to His Torah.

On day six of creation Yah looked back on His creation and pronounced it ‘good’ (Tov) only then did He create Adam, and after doing so He pronounced His creation ‘perfect’ (tov Me’od).   Creation itself remains perfect, however whilst I follow Adam’s way it is not perfect, but the moment I turn back to Yah’s way, the way of Torah, then that perfection can start to re-establish itself in my vicinity.    All the time I behave like Adam, doing things my way, that perfection is in abeyance for there is only one way that leads to life, all other ways lead to Adam’s death.

Seeking His Face

To seek His face, now just what does that mean?    The literal translation of the second commandment is that we should have no other gods in his face, and we are all too eager to throw our own godship in His face.

Yah s all knowing and all seeing, and yet we have the temerity to think that we know better, we change His sabbath to Sunday, we change Passover to ‘Easter’ and Taruwah to (Jewish) New Year (Rosh Hashanah).    That is throwing our godship in His face in a big way.    Christmas too, we take the pagan feast of Saturnalia and pretend it is something to do with Yahushua, and if there were shepherds abiding on the hillsides watching their flocks by night, then it was not the end of December, its just too cold for the sheep.

And Pray

Prayer is a two way dialogue between ourselves and Yah, we, in all our humility, talk to our Father about our lives, our needs and our desires.    This is the reakity, and if we are keepers of Torah (righteous) the Yah hears our prayers.

Yahushua told us how to pray and how not to pray, he told us the prayers are personal and private and not public displays of pseudo-piety.

Our Father – Acknowledgement of Yah’s relationship

Humility

Being humble has got rather a bad reputation in these days of “just do it”.     Being humble is acknowledging that the other guy knows more than you do, and in the case of Yah, that he knows how it all works, how it all fits together because He created it.  Do you want to be humiliated by Yah?

YES, YES and many times YES.

The world is not a revell platic kit with instructions in how to put it together, it is far more complicated than we can imagine and was put together in a most amazing way.

The big planets are line backers for our planet, they intercept incoming space debris, the moon’s tidal action washes our coastlines and removes our waste out to sea.   It is all so well thought out and each component is vital to our very existence.

Yet we often believe that we know best; we think we can interpret the scriptures to justify ourselves, we change His Torah to suit our own purposes, we keep Sunday sabbath as decreed by the Pope not the seventh day as decreed by Yah.

If My People

If my People, who are called by my name will do four thngs:

Humble themselves

Pray

Seek my face

Turn from their wicked ways.

Only then will Yah heal from heaven,   IF is a big little word, and this scripture applies in both the individual life and in the national life.   But first we have to get His name right, it is not ‘God’ or ‘Lord’ or Hashem’ or Adonai. It is Yahovah or Yahweh or however else the tetragrammaton can be pronounced.    The dispute about pronunciation is a man made thing but Yah just says call Me by My Name.    The name of Yah tells us who He is – the eternal one.

We are humble when we are prepared to be servants not sons as was the Prodigal.

We pray when we have a dialogue with Yah about ourselves and our lives before Him as vassals of the King in His kingdom.

We seek His face when we put no other idols before Him in importance, not ourselves, not the television, not the computer and not the iPhone.

And we turn from our wicked ways when we decide to keep Torah

Fantasy

In the beginning Yah created a fantasy which we humans call ‘reality’ for it is very real to us.    We can to a great extent choose our character in this fantasy; and we can either work with the fantasy, or try to mould the reality to our own benefit.

When Yah looked at His fantasy He saw it as perfect, but when I look at Yah’s fantasy I see ‘reality’ instead, and my instinct is to start to remake reality in my own image which inevitably brings me into conflict with those millions of others also trying to shape their own reality.   It also brings me into conflict with that fantasy as it was created by Yah Himself.

Yah’s fantasy does not change, it is the same yesterday, today and forever, and I can continue trying to change it, and be totally frustrated, or I can learn about it, live within it and use it as Yah meant it to be used.   It is my choice.

The Houses of Satan

Do we think that Satan having been defeated during the three days and three nights, that he remained inactive?

No not at all, he immediately set about perverting the ‘back to the Torah’ movement that Yahushua had started.

He got his opportunity when Nero wiped out the assembly in Rome.   Rome was the capital of the world and to have a trojan horse in Rome was a huge asset.    It just may be that just such a trojan horse was set up in Rome as a ‘revived’ ‘christian’ movement in the closing years of the 1st century.

But this trojan horse was a symbiosis between pharisaic Judaism and the mithra cult, and which grew quickly and became very influential from the 1st to the 4th centuries in Rome, culminating in a line of emperors, one of whom was Constantine.

ALL our HEARTS

If you google ‘heart’ and ‘neurons’ you will find that the heart has the capacity to ‘think’ for itself, now put that together with the idea that we must love Yahovah with all out heart and we can understand what He is trying to say to us.

There is a reality, a physical ability in us for our hearts to control our beings so we can actually love Yah with our heart, and we can have Torah written upon our heart, and we can also lift up our hearts, it is not some kind of figurative speech, it is a real component in our relationship with Yah.

The relationship which was damaged when Adam ate from the tree of knowledge.

In our natural state, we ignore our hearts as just being just a pump for blood, but the scriptures tell us something different, that the heart is a transmitter receiver connected to Yah, probably through the tree of life.

When we communicate with Yah, it is the heart that we must use, so we must ‘find’ our heart and tune it in to Yah’s frequency.

Building a Picture

It we allow Him to, Yah will build a portrait of Himself in our hearts, in our innermost places such that we can use it to discern the things of Yah.

When the prodigal decides to leave the pig sty, he alone makes the decision and he alone starts the journey to his father’s house.   It is very, very important to understand that this is not a group decision, it is not a shared decision.   It is a self-centred decision that we alone must make, and we must be prepared to be single minded about it.

It is terribly difficult to abandon friends and fellowships and tread the lonely path towards the house of the Father, but that is why He sends His servants to meet us.

What am I on this Earth for?

It is a profound question, on for which the answer lies in the beginning and not midway through.

In the beginning Yah created, and He put man there to husband His creation.   So Yah put intelligence and creativity and sentience into His creation.   The main role was to be handled by man, made in the image and likeness of Yah.

Yah also provided a source of knowledge and a connection to the wisdom required to use that knowledge.    All was well up to the time when Yah divided the man into male and female, and at some point the female was misled about how knowledge worked and still works.

The tree of life is mankind’s connection to Yah,  it allows Yah’s wisdom to flow into man on request, like a faucet where man can control the flow.   Using Yah’s wisdom, man can then tap the tree of knowledge knowing intrinsically from his connection to Yah (life) how to use knowledge to the benefit of the environment under his charge.

The woman draws her participation in the tree of life through the man, and the first chink in the armour, we can guess, is when the man gives her the wrong information about the tree of knowledge.   The woman believes she must not even touch the tree.

The serpent, in rebellion against Yah, uses this to deceive the woman into eating the fruit, and Adam makes his fatal decision.   The woman was deceived, the man chose, using the free will Yah had provided, to disobey Yah and no sin was committed until Adam threw his new found godship into Yah’s face – “she did it, the woman that you gave me”.
