Baggage

When we add to, or take away from Yah’s Torah, the five books of Moses, we put ourselves in conflict with the Creator and His Creation.    It is most arrogant to assume that we know better than Yah.

Religion is the process of replacing Yah’s truths with man’s interpretations, Yah defined a personal relationship, where each seeks the truths of Yah for him/her self.

And that leaves no room for the Pharisees.

Every religion has its Pharisees, those who ‘lead’, and ‘interpret’ the scriptures for the common people, at a price of course.

The Pharisees of Yahushua’s time preached the Babylonian Talmud, it was a sect that replaced Yah with ‘sages’ after the fashion of Babylon itself.    There are no ‘Pharisees’ in the Mosaic scriptures.

The Pharisees are a pagan tradition which has crept into Christianity and Judaism by the back door, the Temple priests had no authority to change or interpret the scriptures, they carried out temple tasks, handling the animals and organising the people only.

The synagogues were reading rooms where the scriptures were read, a scroll was expensive, probably in the region of half a million dollars equivalent, a herd of sheep slaughtered for the parchment, ink (an expensive commodity) and the scribe working for months and needing to keep his family in food and shelter etc.

So the scrolls were shared, and those who could read, read them to the illiterate (not many).

The scrolls were copied very, very carefully, and the Hebrew scriptures are consistent within a miniscule margin of error.

Nobody in the scriptures is appointed to interpret Yah to the people, and the prophets had to get it right 100% on pain of death.   True Prophets are sent amongst us by Yah to bring us back to His Word and to a personal relationship with Him, they spend most of their efforts trying to get people to see that THEY, the people, are fully qualified to seek Yah’s truths for themselves, they have to live the LIFE of Yah personally by means of Torah (and Torah written on our hearts), not through the vicars, priests, pastors, or rabbis.   The Prophets are the baggage handlers whose job is to trim the excess and make up the shortfalls and relieve us of our worldly burdens.

It is a totally FREE service provided by a loving Creator!

The Father of Lies

From the very beginning, Satan has used lies against the personal relationship between man and his Creator.   Those lies are even now surging through Yah’s creation destroying all those houses built on the sand of human knowledge.

The dialogue between the serpent and the woman in Genesis 3 is fascinating; and every word is nuanced.   But the big lie of self godship, is built upon a previous half-truth; the woman believes that she must not even touch the tree of knowledge.

Knowledge is a raw material, it is like a ton of bricks which if expertly place each one in relation to another, will build a palace, but which, without the necessary expertise, is just a pile of rubble.

In Eden the expertise was supplied by the linkage to the tree of life, connection to Yah was a connection to His omniscience that enabled knowledge, the raw material  to be shaped and  used to understand and live by the truths of Creation.

Wisdom is the combination of the Creator’s knowledge of Creation and the knowledge which is the product of Creation itself, in effect the tree of Knowledge supplies the knowledge and the tree of life supplies the ability to use that knowledge properly.

Other gods?

Thou shalt have no other gods in My face….

Do I throw other gods in Yah’s face? Probably, but hopefully unknowingly.    Yah has  ways of dealing with other gods, he pulls them down and smashes them up.  Whether they be temples of Ba’al or of Dagon.

The most amazing confrontation with other gods is His demolition of the Egyptian gods, one by one in Exodus, with the final plague taking as its victim the god Pharaoh’s  son and Heir, proving all along the utter impotence of other gods before Yah.

Perhaps the most important of these put downs involved Jonah, where Jonah is delivered to his destination by a big fish (Dag in Hebrew).

To Dagon (the fish god) worshippers this would have been stunning, Jonah is transported to the beach by ‘Dagon’ himself and spat onto the beach, he then makes his way to Nineveh, but his reputation as a protege of the ‘fish god’ would have gone before him – and he preaches Yah not Dagon.  No wonder Nineveh believed.

Yet again in Daniel we see Shadrach, Meshach and Abednigo in the furnace (of the god moloch, the topheth just maybe) and then again, Daniel himself in the Lion’s den. Yah is defying other gods

Yahushua used the picture of Jonah, 3 days and 3 nights in the fishes belly to illustrate His own mission, He was to spend 3 days and 3 nights in Dagon’s belly too (Dagon was a satan substitute as was ba’al) and would be resurrected, spat out of ‘death’, that ‘Nineveh’ might be saved.

Our society too has its gods, it has technical gods, it has media ikons and it has political doctrines all of which we worship and would not be parted from.   Do I love my iPhone with all my heart? Or do I love my Creator with all my heart?

The Bondage of Torah?

Did Jesus save us from the bondage of Torah?

Whilst this is the heart-felt belief of millions of Christians we must first look at the Greek word ‘nomos’ translated as law.   A little research shows us that ‘nomos’ is a very vague term, it can describe a ‘keep off the grass’ sign in the local park, and it can describe the most august laws of the land.

In the renewed testament context, it can describe the Law of Yah (Torah) or it can describe the traditions of the Pharisees, and this is where Satan lays the trap for the unwary, for one is the narrow gate through which one must pass to enter the Kingdom of Yah, the other is the broad highway that leads to destruction.

Psalm 119 tells us all about the Torah, the Talmud tells us all about the traditions of men.

Whose Truth?

Satan does not like the truth, for truth is what the Creator created “in the beginning”.   If he can, Satan will modify the ‘truth’ to enhance his own lusts and desires.   But to modify truth one must hide reality and create a convincing deceit.

We see this in the dialogue between the Woman and the Serpent in the garden, we are not told who convinced the woman that she must not even touch the tree on pain of death, so when the serpent shows her that she has been lied to, probably by touching the tree himself, then the woman is deceived and confused.   The woman did not intend to violate Yah’s edict but she was manoeuvred….

Most people are like the woman, they don’t want to violate Yah’s edicts, but, through ignorance and laziness, they are presented with the lie that Torah is irrelevant and that “Dancing with the Stars” is reality, and they fall for it.

Sex, Marriage and Divorce

Adam and the Woman were naked, and they knew it not, until after the fall that is….

Then everything changed, and they were embarrassed by their nudity, and the first act of fallen man was to cover that nudity and fallen man has been obsessed by nudity ever since.     Yah, however is not obsessed by it for it is, to Him, the natural state of mankind.

Of course, most societies insist that we dress with some degree of modesty, and the more satanic the society, then the more that rule is enforced, especially on women.

When one has eternal life, reproduction is not a prime requirement, it is only when one has a prescribed lifetime that it becomes necessary to breed, and to multiply, a breeding pair must be able to raise at least 3 children to adulthood.

Without TIME or WIT

Once one realizes that the whole idea of dispensationalism is wrong, then the idea that Yah changed His mind about Jews and Torah becomes ridiculous, He tells us direct that not only does He Himself not change, but that Torah endures to the end of the age, it is timeless.

A ‘Jew’ (Hebrew) is anybody who keeps Yah’s Torah (not men’s).

Yah tells us that He, and He alone created the Heavens and the Earth, and we have a choice, we can either believe Him or disbelieve Him, it is quite simple.

But we have to take His word for it, and whilst there there is a whole lot of evidence, there is no proof.  One hears many who say to Yah “show yourself to me then I will believe”, but this is to invert the hierarchy, it is not for Yah to show himself to me, but for me to show myself to Yah, and I do that by believing that “in the beginning Yah created”

However, if you believe that in the beginning ‘nothing’, then you cannot present yourself to Yah, and whose problem is that?

I look out of the window and I see a creation, it is there, it exists, I can touch, see, hear, taste and smell it.   Somehow it got itself made and we can rightly assume that there is/was a creative force.

Human Sacrifice

Human Sacrifice

Christians must be very careful how they describe the sacrifice of their Jesus on the cross (a pagan Roman torture device dating back to Babylon).   Human sacrifice is not acceptable to Yah, and John tells us that “the Word (logos) was made flesh (human) and dwelt among us”

The Greek word ‘Logos’ is interesting, a ‘logos’  is a hard fact whereas a ‘mythos’ has a spiritual element, so in the Septuagint we find logos used for the Hebrew ‘Torah’ (signpost) and for the word Debar (directions)….

So Torah was made flesh and dwelt among us.

So what is Torah that it can be made flesh?  Could it be the Words spoken by Yah that commanded Creation itself?

“In the beginning was Torah, and Torah was with Yah and Torah was Yah, all things were made by it and without it was not anything made which was made”

Staying with the Pigs

The Servants of Yah met the prodigal son from afar, and guided him home, and that is wonderful, but first he had to leave the pigsty….

If you are a pig, then pigsties are nice, comfortable places, but if you are not a pig then they can be very smelly and brutal.

Adam chose to use his own godship, so Yah had to evict him from Eden into the physical existence that we call this world.    An existence where we can build and wallow in our own pigsties in peace, knowing that Yah will leave us to it.

But for some of us, even the pigsties of our own building are not very comfortable, and we start casting around for a way out.   We look, and we listen and sometimes we realise that our own godship is just not enough.

It is at this point we have to make a decision.

Are you Creation compliant?

“ In the beginning YAHOVAH created”

Man has a choice; he can choose to be part of Yah’s creation or he can choose to be part of his own creation and get himself thrown out of the Garden.

Godship is the ability to define right and wrong, and to dictate that to others, so Adam became a god, he decided to build his own creation in his own image inside of Yah’s creation, and we have all done it.   Therefore must we be ‘born again’ (more properly “born from above”).

Man has free will and can therefore disagree with Yah (at his peril) but angelic beings, which includes Nephilim and Satan do not have this privilege and are thus condemned if they rebel, but Nephilim, being half human are a direct challenge to Yah and hence his wrath against them.
